  • A unique mentoring programme offering students individual access to consultancy from experienced, nationally known practitioners in the field, who are supporting the course through the Public Realm Information Advice Network (PRIAN).

  • Two intensive, 3 day residential sessions.

  • Elements of the course can be seen in our Know how section and the PRIAN Knowledge Map.
  • On site studies into the integration of urban design and traffic issues using sites immediately accessed from the course venue.
  • The opportunity to network and forge working relationships with others in the field.
  • CPD accreditation from IHE and English Heritage. Successful participants will receive the English Heritage “Streets for All” certificate and be eligible to join the IHIE at entry level.

Mike Slinn, IHT past president endorses public realm course for CPD.iht

IHT members can obtain an IHT, Public Realm CPD certificate and learn how to apply more widely the principles set out in the Manual for Streets.

Mike Slinn, past president of the IHT, has announced that the Design and Management of the Public Realm course is the new accredited CPD for IHT members. It follows a programme of workshops and conferences organised by CABE for quality streetscape.
